When Brooklyn Magazine named me one of its Top 50 Most Fascinating People, they recognized me for my accomplishments in the performing, visual, and literary arts. Because that's what I'm about: the work. I make films, plays, books, and other imaginings, all while running Quail Bell Press & Productions. Some of my creations include Quail Bell Magazine, the stage play Mi Abuela, Queen of Nightmares, the film Sirena's Gallery, the Badass Lady-Folk talk show, the character acts Art Bitch and Queen Jaguar, and Forget Fairytales comics. Phew! Co-hosting the comedy TV show Don't Mind If I Don't with Aaron Gold is another beloved project. My talents and creations have appeared in Cosmopolitan, Bustle, Ms. Magazine, The Huffington Post, Bushwick Daily, the Portland Review, The Feminist Wire, and beyond. Currently, I run the YouTube channel Stoddard Says and am studying Documentary Film at Columbia University.
