​Belladonna Magic: Spells in the Form of Poetry & Photography

Belladonna Magic (Shanti Arts, 2019) is a collection of poetry and photography about feminine magic. Brian Droitcour of Art in America wrote the following of the book: "Stoddard's work in poetry, photography, and collage is an oblique form of self-portraiture. Tenderly and tentatively, she explores the social expectations of women's visibility and vulnerability, and her own negotiation of them.” The book's launch took place at Berl's Brooklyn Poetry Shop; the event was picked for "Notable NYC" in The Rumpus. Excerpts from the book were exhibited at "LISTEN: Artists Respond to Politics" at BronxArtSpace from February-April 2019.
