Big Words, Etc. & PEN America

In September 2019, Big Words, Etc., a Brooklyn literary reading series, partnered up with PEN America & The Poetry Project's "Break Out!" program to highlight incarcerated writers. I was invited to read my work and also perform the work of incarcerated writer Carolyn Ashby. Here is a video excerpt from my performance of Ashby's poetry at 61 Local in Brooklyn:
