Drunken History
I directed this 15-minute film written and narrated by Ben Nardolilli. Drunken History is a poetry film about gentrification, resistance, and finding refuge as an artist in New York City—or maybe somewhere beyond it. Completed in September 2020, Drunken History is now being considered by film festivals, museums, and galleries. It was selected for the Scream It Off Screen Short Film Competition and the Lift-Off Global Network First-Time Filmmaker Sessions in May 2021. The film is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video UK and NPower Network, a Roku channel owned by Parker Media Company. You can find Drunken History's IMDb page here. An interview with Ben and me about the film is forthcoming in Curlew Quarterly.
