Virtual Caress
Virtual Caress is a suite of 13 artist videos made using the music of John Davis. I directed and edited the videos during NYC's COVID-19 shutdown, from March to August 2020. All but the last three videos were made completely via virtual exchange. Additional collaborators include Disnie Sebastien, Dmitriy Kosoy, and Deniz Zeynep.

Two of the videos were first screened at The Hive Art Community in Brooklyn in August 2020; other videos have been featured in news stories by QNS.com and the Brooklyn Downtown Star/Queens Ledger (BQE Media). Some of the videos have also been curated for Deirdre Towers' Bell Eight, Penticton Gallery's "You Are Not Alone," Performance Køkkenet's QuAR(T)antine, Third Estate Art's Quaranzine, the Borfski Press blog, Portland's Open Signal platform, and my solo exhibition, "From the Jaguar's Lair," at Cold Coffee Gallery in Albany, NY. Virtual Caress is now streaming on NPower Network, a Roku channel owned by Parker Media Company. The film was an official selection of the New York Tri-State International Film Festival, New Wave Short Film Festival (Munich, Germany) the Montreal Independent Film Festival (Semi-finalist for "Best Experimental Film"), and Rump Gallery's Film/Video Fest (Richmond, VA).
