Window to Flatbush JunctionSpace Fellowship
The Window to Flatbush JunctionSpace program was a 2018 fellowship I completed with the Flatbush-Nostrand Junction Business Improvement District (BID) and BRIC Arts Media in Brooklyn. I was one of 10 art fellows who worked with an assigned small business on re-design and marketing ideas. Our mentor was Israeli-born, Flatbush-based artist Yasmin Gur.
The four-month fellowship culminated in a video screening and exhibition at BRIC's Downtown Brooklyn space. (The image above is the piece I exhibited at the show.) The Brooklyn Reader wrote an article following the reception. My teammate Darkin Brown and I were also hired to create a website about the fellowship program for the Flatbush-Nostrand Junction BID. Find out more and see samples here.
