2023 Short Films & Videos
The following are sample shorts from the very tail end of 2022 and 2023. Several of these shorts are part of the Belladonna Magic series based on my book and will be edited together into a feature-length work for 2024.
Uncontested is an 8-minute narrative short about a young divorcee who passes her time in her new sublet by making paper pulp and obsessively checking the mail while awaiting her final divorce papers. In the meantime, she keeps running into her new neighbor. The film premiered at the Concourse Film Festival and quickly surpassed 5K views on YouTube.
A Garden of Grotesques is a film essay about finding solace in an unsupportive marriage by meditating at an obscure landmark representing architecture failure. The film is currently making its festival circuit and not available online.
