Bottled

Bottled (2020) is a short film that I wrote, directed, and starred in. It features music composed by Deniz Zeynep. It first streamed on Amazon Prime and premiered at the New York Long Island Film Festival (NYLIFF), as seen in Newsday, and was nominated for the "Best 'Short' Short" category there. It was also an official selection for the Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning's 10 Minute Film Festival in New York, the first festival hosted by this historic center, where it was a finalist for the "Audience Choice Award." At Global Shorts, a film festival based in Los Angeles, Bottled received the "Special Mention" award. In addition to playing festivals, the film was selected for the virtual initiatives by NPower Network (Roku), SHIFT:ibpcpa/Scotland (Glasgow), and CelebrateWomxn845 (Kingston, NY).  Bottled has received press coverage and social media attention from Broad Street, Shades of Long Island, Deep South Magazine, UVA's alumni magazine, and Virginia Living magazine.
