Wanted: College Intern
Seeking a highly ambitious college student looking to assist writer/director/artist Christine Stoddard to gain experience in the film, theater, publishing, and museum worlds. The intern may be located anywhere in the world, but preference will be given to those located in New York City. Bonus if they are VCU or CCNY alumni.

- Writing & sending out press releases
- Strategizing & implementing social media campaigns
- Researching & submitting to literary magazines, artist grants, film festivals, play festivals, etc.
- Researching & contacting potential podcast & other interview guests
- Formatting & proofreading original manuscripts & scripts
- Reviewing audition tapes
- Resizing JPGs, coordinating with printers & selecting frames
- Coordinating & editing poetry films
- Assisting with & attending in-person events in New York City (if possible)

Christine Stoddard is a Salvadoran-American writer, director, performer, and multi-hyphenated artist creating books, films, plays, murals, etc. She founded Quail Bell Press & Productions, including Quail Bell Magazine. She directed the feature film Sirena's Gallery and authored the books Heaven is a Photograph, Naomi & The Reckoning, Desert Fox by the Sea, and Water for the Cactus Woman, among others. Her work has appeared in The Brooklyn Rail, Ms. Magazine, The Huffington Post, and beyond. Previously, she was the first-ever artist-in-residence at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House in Manhattan and an AnkhLave Arts Alliance fellow at the Queens Botanical Garden.
Christine has previously managed interns from Virginia Commonwealth University, George Washington University, Pratt Institute, the University of Missouri, the University of Virginia, William & Mary, Hampden-Sydney College, and other institutions.
No pay, but college credit, resume review, portfolio review, and other pre-professional mentorship will be made available.
